The Cheviot Hills, from which this breed of sheep gets its name, form the border line between England and Scotland. The Cheviot Sheep Society was formed in 1890 and is one of the oldest sheep societies in existence.

Cheviot Presentation
A surprise presentation for Society Secretary, Isobel McVittie, who was presented with a series of framed pictures by a favourite artist Keith Brockie by Cheviot Hill Sheep Society Chairman Oliver Douglas at the 2003 Ram Sale.
