The Cheviot Hills, from which this breed of sheep gets its name, form the border line between England and Scotland. The Cheviot Sheep Society was formed in 1890 and is one of the oldest sheep societies in existence.

Society Flock Book


Rules:
Every Ram must be bred by a Member of the Society, and is eligible for entry into the Flock Book by his Breeder only.

His Sire must be entered in the Flock Book stating the Sire’s Flock Book Number not his Pedigree.

All Rams used as Ram Lambs must be entered.

No Entry will be accepted unless accompanied by the Entry Fee of £2.00 each.

The entry form can be downloaded here and should be completed and submitted by 20th March 2012 at the latest to ensure inclusion.
